Dear Board Members:
      I am writing in support of Dr. Robert Beeson.  Shortly before he  went to Human Resources to file his complaint of discrimination, Dr. Beeson said to me, "When a person sees injustice and remains silent, he becomes complicit in the problem.  We are a public institution funded by tax dollars.  I cannot remain silent about this."
     That complaint is the simple reason why Dr. Walker wants to fire Dr. Beeson.  I urge you not to let that happen.  We have never before needed the kind of leadership Bob Beeson offers as we now do.  Please bring him back to help lead us out of this unfortunate situation.
