The Estero Island Historic Society was started in 1991 by a
group of island residents who recognized the value of preserving the history of their island community. Our museum is located
on Bay Road in the town of Fort Myers Beach. We are open every Wednesday and Saturday from 10-2 and we welcome visitors.
Our musuem is located adjacent to Mantanaz Pass Preserve which is open daily for visitors to view the ecological wonders of
Estero Bay.
